Crufts

Article text
The beginning of March is usually very busy as this is when Crufts Dog Show is held. Last year was manic, as I had five dogs entered, so lots of grooming went on beforehand!

This year was much less frenetic. In fact it seemed really strange not to be bathing dogs all week. This was because I had the honour of judging Parson Russell Terriers at 'the greatest dog show in the world'.

I had a lovely entry, with dogs coming from all over Europe as well as from the UK, and Best of Breed went to a Norwegian dog, Multi Ch Rustic Russell P. Belvedere who finally emerged victorious from the 120 dogs present on the day. BOS was Ch Alncroft Tribute to Riplington - two very lovely examples of the breed.
